Hello Everyone,

We are planning to apply for PR under CEC. My husband worked under NOC A for 3 months and now he is working under NOC B.

As per CIC, If your skilled work experience in Canada is in a

NOC 0 or A job, the minimum level is CLB 7 (English) or NCLC 7 (French).
NOC B job, the minimum level is CLB 5 (English) or NCLC 5 (French).

Since he worked in two different NOC, how much he has to secure in IELTS?

How many months before applying for PR,

1) he has to take the IELTS test?
2) we have to do the Medical test?
3) we have to apply for Police Verification?

Thanks,
Lekshmi

Applying for Canadian experience under NOC A (even for part of the qualifying period), requires the CLB 7 proof.

1) From CIC website: Your test results must not be more than two years old on the day you apply for permanent residence or you will need to retake the tests.
2) I recommend waiting for an invitation AFTER you apply. otherwise you may end up repeating medicals. You must perform landing as a PR within one year after the medicals
3) Depending on each country, procedure is different. You have to specify which countries this refers to.
