PR Travel Document processing time

Hi All,

I received PR last year and made a landing in Toronto in Feb this year. I flew out of Canada after staying there for some time. I recently received an offer from an employer and need to join before 26.Mar.2017 (in 2 weeks). I haven't yet received my PR card and so need PR Travel Document to enter Canada. I applied for TD on 10.Mar. VFS Mumbai informed me that it will take at least 20 days before I get PRTD. But, I need it before 25.Mar.2017 (approx in 15 days) because otherwise my offer letter stand null and void.

Has anybody gone through such situation requiring urgent processing for Travel Document?

Any advice or pointer on getting PRTD processing expedited will be highly appreciated.

I am not aware about the expedited processing of the PRTD. Contact VFS or Consulate to see if they can help in any way.
