PR through PNP or express entry?

Hello all,

I have already submitted an application through Express Entry in the STEM category. However, I just got an email inviting me to apply through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). I'm unsure how to proceed. Could anyone please explain the advantages and disadvantages of this process? Also, if I apply through PNP, will I still be eligible for Express Entry, and how does it work exactly?

You can apply 2 pr application at same time under different categories. You can’t apply PR application under same stream.
