That's great.. which stream did he applied and which province

PR stream and ontario province . But his work permit was going to expire on december . He got LMIA in september last. When your work permit is going to expire ?

Reaching out to see if you can provide me some detailed information. We are going through LMIA process. It's a LMIA for P.R in Alberta. how long does it taking now days. Job title is Cook for this LMIA.

Yes, It is taking way too long for LMIA processing. I'm also waiting. My employer applied in June 2019, the application fee ($1000) was processed in Aug. My employer is still waiting for the interview call. He called service Canada to check the status, they said it's pending processing. Can not tell how long it is going to take. Website says 40 days for PR stream but it if definitely longer than that. My employer is in Ontario.
One of my friend's LMIA got approved in two months, for a Restaurant Manager position in Alberta. So it does vary from province to province.

Yes, mine is done..
Application confirmation on 18 July , interview on 14 Nov , positive LMIA recieved on 21 Nov and WP on 23 Nov.
Whole process around 4 months.
