Please advise me what is PR Stream LMIA and how long it takes to process this. My consultant is saying he have applied and now waiting for LMIA approval. Applied on 07 July and accepted on 15 July. He told me it will be processed in 40 business days but it's much more than that now. I will appreciate if anyone can advise me what is the actual processing time, how to figure out authenticity of consultant. Is it worth waiting??

A Canadian employer applies for an LMIA not a consultant. The employer pays a 1000 CDN fee then advertises the job for a few months to ensure no resident available and from there the application moves forward.Please advise me what is PR Stream LMIA and how long it takes to process this. I know employer but job offer is not shared with me.. but this is confirmed that LMIA is applied on my name.
Yes money is paid(Just application fee) but constant is ready to return if I would like to withdraw due to long waiting time.
Now I am just confused whether to continue waiting or return back as it's close to 3months now whereas it was promised to get this processed within one month.
