I received email that status on my application has been updated and I should login using link https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login. This is the same link I used to submit online application. When I login it shows same status as submitted.
I tried to sign up for GC key and link my file, it says not found.

Any suggestions would help.

You don't give times but gckey link usually only works after acknowledgement of receipt (formal, not just 'submitted), which takes 30-90 days from submission. So far no indication this step is faster for online submissions.

I submitted it online 50 days back. Im only concerned as I received email for status change.
