When I sponsored my wife, she had a TRV and we applied Outland. She had no issues coming and waiting in Canada during the process. My biggest reason for choosing Outland was the appeal option, which isn’t available inland. Wanted to keep my options open.
Where did your wife get PR visa? Was it in Canada?

The reason we don't wanna do outland because if my PR visa gets approved, I have to go back to my country again to get it in the local embassy. That's why I wanna go with the inland so I don't need to travel back and forth.
Don't know where you got that from. You would only need to return to your country if required to attend an interview.

Oh. I asked for advice in an immigroup forum. He said I might have to go back to my country to get my PR visa if I do the outland.
What I wanted to find out was if we do the outland application and I come to Canada on my TRV while the paperwork is processing, I don't want to have to fly back to Vietnam at all to pick up paperwork or a PR visa or something silly like that. We would rather time it so that I will travel to Canada approx 6 months after the application so that when the approval comes, the 6 month TRV limit will just be running down. Is that possible?

Incorrect. There is no minimum income requirement, even in Quebec, but a couple must show that they can support themselves without welfare.
Hi thanks for correcting, but what I meant is that the sponsor needs to show proof of Employment/Source of support.

That would be totally incorrect. Again, you can send your passport to Ottawa for your immigration visa if you are in Canada. Takes about 4weeks. Been there, done that!

If you are getting close to the 6 months, apply for an extension. Takes close to 4months for them just to start processing.

I see. Thank you
Also there is one more thing I'm wondering.
We wanna to fly to Canada together after our ceremony in Vietnam, is that an issue?

Shouldn’t be, given you have regularly travelled to Canada. Don’t lie about the relationship. As a visitor, you need to make them (CBSA) comfortable that you know you are a visitor and won’t overstay. Also study up on dual intent.
