I want to know how can I check sponsor application status?
and what is the meaning of medical results have been received?

to check your status on ECAS.....use the sponsor UCI or application number.

medical results have been received....means your medical exam results have been received by IRCC and medical completed.

Not likely passed. It means that CIC is still reviewing results. Status will update to medical results passed once you in fact do pass it.

You can't fail the medical through spousal sponsorship anyways.

Have you linked your application to "gckey" if you do, you'll get notified as soon as any changes are made to your account. After medical, they will begin the background check. I found this takes the longest After this is passport request. But takes weeks or months even, after background check. Depending on your visa office.

my ecas status changed to decision made on 19 October but i haven't received passport request yet

I had to email them and ask them what the decision was lol because i didn't hear anything.
