Hello,

we landed when my daughter was 14 years old, we went to toronto and did the landing formalities, and then left Canada so that my daughter can finish school. We kept going every summer. Almost 4 years later, my daughter finished high school abroad and was accepted in a Canadian university. Can she go to Canada with her PR card? There is still one year left from the five years period, and she will immediately enrol in University. She will be < 18 years old when she enters Canada, and she will have one more year on her PR Card.

Please advice

Pre-Assessed..
She will very likely slip in unnoticed. They will ask when she was in Canada last and she will say she has been gone for a year. Immigration will likely not know that she doesn't meet the residency requirements. Even if they know and start proceedings to revoke her PR, she can appeal saying that she did not want to leave Canada at age 14, her evil parents made her do it but now she is of age, she is back in which case she will most likely win the appeal.

When time comes to renew her PR card, she can either let it expire and only renew when she has 730 days in the 5 years previous in which case she has no problem renewing or she can apply without having 730 days but stating the above, that she did not want to leave at age 14 in which case her PR will most likely be re-enstated.
