PR requirement for Indian citizen working in USA for 6+ years

Hello All,

I am an Indian Citizen working in USA for last 6+ years. I have Masters degree in Computers and 12+ years of IT experience. I would like to file Canadian PR application. I noticed that under Canadian Experience Class, it mentions that applicant should have 12 months of full-time skilled work experience in Canada.

My question is, does US experience count? If not, then in what category can I apply and how much is the wait time for PR?

Us visa apnp was there earlier now it is closed. There is no us visa category now as far as I now

No. The rules for CEC are very clear. You will have to check the CIC web site for alternatives.
