For example pr got on Jan 2020 (I hope you mean landing... and PR card could have expiry date on any time on or after Jan 2025) and we don't care when we calculate RO.Thank you for your answer.
Let's give an exemple to understand
For exemple pr got on January 2020(expired on January 2025), I met the residency requirement more than 730 days, I renew my pr on 2025 (expired on 2030) During this period (2025-2030) I stay in Canada just for 300 days, so I didn't meet the residency requirement, do I can complete the 730 after 2030 and apply for renewal or not.
Thank you for your patience.
OK back to the example.
From Jan 2020 to Jan 2025 if you stayed in Canada for 730 days or more, you met RO.
Again your renewal and your PR card expiry has NOTHING to do with your RO.
From Jan 2025 to 2030 (if those are the dates you want to look at), on ANY day you will look backward e.g. May 2, 2025, and in the past 5 years (May 2 2020 - May 1, 2025) if you spend 730 days or more in Canada, then you meet RO.
So if you stay in Canada mostly right after you landed in Jan 2020 and left right after you met your RO in Feb 2022, then you will start "loosing" days.
Again, renewing your PR card has nothing to do and will not reset your RO. You count backward everyday. There no period of 2025 -2030.
You can renew your PR card as early as 90 days before your current card expires. If your new card will expire in Jan 2030, and if you lived in Canada for more than 730 days Since Oct 2025, you can apply for PR card renewal as early as Oct 2029. (provided that you are IN Canada at that point)
I think you are probably more confused at this point!!
