hi good day. Im about to leave canada next yr nov 2020 for about 1 month and will return before My PR card expires on feb 2021. Do i need to renew my PR card before i leave. Tnx

You can renew your PR card 9 months before it expires, so you will be eligible to renew in May-June 2020. You should renew it before you leave. It's quick and easy (assuming you have met your RO by living in Canada for 730 days in the previous five years from date of application for renewal), and then you don't have to worry in case you need to extend your trip.
However, you do not have to renew it as long as you are sure you're returning before it expires.
