I am in the process of filling the application forms for PR Card renewal.
For question # 22 Residency Obligations - Time spent outside Canada, since i have not spent 1095 days or more outside Canada, can i leave this blank because i have seen for question # 20 WORK AND EDUCATIONAL HISTORY INSIDE AND OUTSIDE CANADA, a note has been put "Stating “not applicable” (or “N/A”), or leaving a question blank may result in your application being returned as incomplete.[/b]

These instructions are given in their guide for filling the forms.

please advise.

If you did not spent a single day outside of Canada then mark NA otherwise list all days outside of Canada even if the total days are less than 1095.

Q22 only applies to the person who has spent more than 1095 days outside Canada.

Do not leave section 20 blank. Do not write “not applicable” (or “N/A”) else you application may be returned to you.
You need to provide all your work history/education history/retired/unemployment/homemaker, self-employment etc etc in this section

For Section 22, if you have not spent more than 1095 days outside Canada then write "NOT APPLICABLE" or "NA" in all the boxes (Situation 1 to 3), don't leave it blank.
