PR renewal / Work history

Hi all,

I am filling the PR renewal form but a bit confused of the work history. I was employed in Dubai when I came for landing in 2016 , I actually stayed 40 days then returned back to Dubai for 2 years and stayed with the same employer before permanently came to Canada..

Regarding my 40 days vacation (under the work history) shall I separate this period and put the name of my employer/"vacation for landing" and in "City or Town " should be in Canada in this case ? as I put my Canadian address in the address history during this period. Or simply have the 2 years (and 40 days) time listed in one line under the same employer and the "City or Town " should be in UAE in this case assuming that this is my employer's location?

I think you should put the employment address in UAE for the period up to 2018 before you permanently came to Danada.

Makes sense , I assumed they need just to know the employer information, but another tricky point for my wife and 5 yrs daughter since they both were not employed at the time we came for landing so what do you think I can put in the work history for them in that period (same like mine , all in UAE)? till we permanently came to Canada

Put "not employed" for your daughter and wife.

And what about the location ? I assume it should be UAE in this case even though they came with me in the landing trip (actually thats the point which confuses me)
