Dear senior members,

What documents to be submitted to prove residency in Canada and personal immigration entry/exit record or movement certificate as I sent my application after completing 745 days in Canada and have travelled to Saudi Arabia for job till March 2013 and then to US and India 4-5 times. Have received the following message from IRCC:
Quote....
For the purposes of determining if you have upheld the residency obligations in meeting the requirements for a Permanent Resident Card and in accordance with Section 28 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, please provide us with proof of your residency in Canada for the period 28 MAR 2012 to 27 MAR 2017 Please submit a copy of the following documents dated within the period specified above:

1) Complete pages (including blank pages) of your passport(s)/travel document(s) held in the last 5 years. Ensure all pages are in colour and are clearly legible.

AND

2) Personal immigration entry/exit record or movement certificate issued by the countries where you have travelled.

If the documents you provide in support of your application are not in English or French, you must also provide a certified copy of English or French translation and a certified copy of the translator’s declaration. A translator’s declaration must include the translator’s name, the original language of the translated document and a statement signed by a translator that the translation is accurate.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help.
The documents required are listed directly in the letter that you quoted. What exactly is your question?

I Guess, the main concern is how to get the second part.

2- Personal immigration entry/exit record or movement certificate issued by the countries where you have traveled.

It sounds reduculous, no country in the middle east will issue a travel document ( entry/Exit)?

1- Please anyone has experience about this certificate or how it can be issued and what required to have one.
2- What about people who was in RO breach and let in without reporting and stayed completely 2 years then applied for their PR renewal, do they need the have the same certificate?

Thank you very much for everyone.
Countries in the Middle East issue such certificates on a routine basis. Search in this forum and you will find plenty of examples of people who have obtained these documents from the UAE, KSA, etc.

These documents are only required by those PR renewal applicants whose application goes to secondary review. Even if you enter the country without being reported, there is no guarantee that you will be able to renew your PR card without it going to secondary review.
