PR Renewal and GCMS notes

Hi,

Does anyone know if I can order GCMS notes to check where my PR card renewal application is at? I applied online on 28 April and was able to link my application to the IRCC account 2 months later but nothing since then.

My case isnot the most straightforward I assume as I am overseas with a Canadian spouse, hence why the GCMS notes maybe handy…?

i am in the same situation as you. i applied online on 3rd May and no response till now. Similar, I am overseas with Canadian spouse.

yes i was able to link the application. do let me know if you get any response .
 
Did you get an application number? Funny enough we applied on the same date and when I called in to IRCC, they said they couldn't find my application. They said they'll contact the office processing PR cards to see if they can find my file. They did give my husband an application number (still under processing). I'm not able to link either of our applications to our GCKEY accounts.

I was only able to get the number when I linked my application to the IRCC portal- nothing before that.
 
Any updates from your end?
 
i just checked the IRCC account. Not sure how it will turn out

Final decision - August 24, 2023:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
 
Got the same update but dated 22 August. Could anyone share their experience on how long does it take after this?

Sorry for my late reply, the application was approved on 29/8 and I just received the PR card. Hope you heard back?
