Hello,
I am in deep confusion here and I am freaking out.
I applied for my PR after getting my ITA in May and today I got my rejection letter.
The reason was my job responsibilities did not match the NOC.
I want to know what my next step is.
My work permit expires on Feb 2020. I have less time.
Can I apply for EE again? After getting ITA, Can I apply for PR showing full funds and not CEC?
Also, Can extend my work permit?
My passport is valid till June 2020.
So many hurdles, I dont know where to begin.
Please help.

Regards,
Nancy

Yes - you can apply for EE again. You will need to submit a new EE profile and wait for ITA again.

To extend your work permit, you will need to receive ITA again and submit your application so that you qualify for a BOWP. Alternatively, you can ask your employer to obtain an approved LMIA.

You dont have to panic. You can select the right noc code and reapply. You will be on implied status as you await a decision from cic so you can apply for BOWP before your wp expires

Hi,
I was a student in Canada and got PGWP. I do not think my employer will obtain LMIA. I want to know if it is wrong not to apply under CEC again?
If i submit again for EE and manage to get ITA soon, you are saying I can extend my PGWP? Should I extend my passport before the work permit?

"Your application was assessed based on the occupation(s) which you identified as part of your skilled work experience in Canada: I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement because I am not satisfied on the balance of probabilities that your employment with XXXX. corresponds to NOC 0601. Specifically, I am not satisfied that you have performed the lead statement of NOC 0601. I am therefore not satisfied that you have acquired sufficient qualifying work experience to establish yourself as a member of the Canadian Experience Class as per R87.1(2)(a) and as per R87.1(2)(b)."

This is the reason I was given. This means that my NOC is wrong right?

As mentioned above, you would either need LMIA for a closed work permit, or submit another EE application then apply for BOWP
Or if you have a spouse, you could get a spouse work permit

I think I will apply again for EE. Is changing my NOC my only option? Or can I not apply under CEC?

Yes thats what it means. You always have to make sure your duties match most of the duties listed under that particular NOC

Extend your passport before applying for BOWP. The BOWP would not go beyond the expiration date on your passport. That information is on my BOWP

Hello everyone replying to this query... When I change the NOC, can I change the job duties as well? I just found another NOC that would be matching my current job duties however I need to change a few things around. When I submitted the first time I put my title as "Sales Administrator" however I am thinking of putting "Coordiantor" when I reapply. Because both these roles are my roles. Can I do that?

OK. so I can start my passport extension now... in the mean time I can apply for EE and once I get my ITA and extended passport I can apply for BOWP? Or should I get my ITA for passport extension as well?

In order for us to help you, you have to provide your details even though no one know why. You pick Noc 0 which means you have to have ielts CLB 7. You have to work at least one year full-time to qualify under CEC. Yes, Noc type mismatch with your duties
