Wife is duel citizen, I'm American. We married Dec 2012.
She's approved as a sponsor and my PR papers are processing as of June 2013.

My question is can I move with her now? We want to drive a moving truck full of belongings.
We will have inventory of stuff, paperwork we submitted, and proof that I can swing it financially.

I feel like a border guard would have no reason to really let me do this. I have proof that I'm returning to the US in 30 days, so I could say I'm visiting....but I feel like when he/she sees the amount of stuff, there's no real hiding that.

Are we better off having her drive the truck and me cross separately (i.e. fly?).

thoughts? experiences? get at me

No, you can "visit", but you cannot "move" to Canada. But YES, your wife certainly CAN move back to Canada (drive the truck), and then you fly in "to visit". The only problem with that is the value of all those goods crossing the border, as you can't very well file your B4 just yet. I don't know what the rules surrounding a Canadian moving back to Canada with truckload of stuff are.

You can't, but your wife can :) I don't know specifically if she needs the B4 form or not, but there is a section on the CBSA site that talks about it here.

Being a Canadian myself, I had to fill out the B4 form when I moved back to Canada. I had to list all the stuff I owned in US so I can get them back into Canada at a later time without any taxes applied. You can't leave with the B4 forms at the border to complete at home and drop it off later. You got to have the list ready before you enter Canada. If you don't, be prepared to complete the form by memory at the border, which I had to do.
