Hi there...

I have a question about applying for PR while being on a study permit. I am doing my Masters in U of S, Saskatchewan and started out last Fall (Sep-2013). According to the most recent SINP rules, any one who has a work experience of 960 hours can apply for PR- this work experience even includes the graduate fellowship.

I have a Devolved scholarship that pays me $1500/month. On my offer letter, it does say that I have to render a 4 hour work everyday or 20 hrs a week either through teaching/marking. I only involve in research in my lab (as per my research supervisor's and dean's instructions). However, I work everyday and it is going to be 960hr by start of September.

My question to anyone who knows well about SINP or sumone who could relate to what the latest SINP implies-- could you please tell me if I am elgible to lodge an application by say Oct? as I will hav my offer letter and paystubs for the aforementioned period of a year?

Else, could you guide me how does it actually work? So that I can watch out and place an application for PR without missing on quota numbers / deadlines.

It will be of real great help to me...kindly assist.

Thank you in advance :)

I am new to this but i want to share some info which i know. For applying PR , your profile should meet some points set by Canada Immigration.

please let us know whether do you have any work experience , if-so how many years of exp?

You can get help from advocate before submitting your PR application.

I am equally interested in SINP as i am going to join UOS in September as undergraduate student. As far as i know these new rules ask for a full time job offer in your field of study. I am talking about Student Sub Category. I searched over SINP but still i am a newbie. Hope you correct me if i am wrong.
