PR pathway for Home Child Care provider

As of today, you only need 1 year home child care experience. My Question is that if I have an employer and will hire me for a home child care provider on July 2023. Will I be qualified to apply for PR by August 2024?
I heard that this program will close on June 17, 2024.
Note: I'm in Canada with open work permit.

If it closes on June 17, 2024 and the program is not extended then you need your application in before June 17 with a year of experience. You can still apply to the program under less than a year of experience if open for applications at that time. Check HCCP requirements.

Firstly, you can apply in HCCP only in Jan 2024 now.

If you apply under HCCP Category 1 (Gaining Experience Category) then you will work for 1 year and will apply PR after completing it.

The HCCP/HSWP Pilot programs will close in June 2024 however those who already submitted applications under Category 1 will be able to submit work experience letters to move it to Category 2.

That's why under HCCP/HSWP Category 1, there are two applications submitted. Work Permit and Permanent Residence together and the PR application is put on hold after verifying eligibility in Category 1.

Quota. Once quota is met then program is closed.

My job offer is 35 hours/ week( full time) but not a permanent position, it is a year contract. Please, I need advice on my PR pathway.
