PR Obligations

Hi everyone, My brother and his family became Landed Immigrant in Aug2008 . But he has been going back and forth but stayed hardly 2months in canada. But his wife and child is in canada for about 300days. She is pregnant and will be having baby soon.
So If they all stay out of Canada with a canadian citizen child, can they renew their PR ? or they will have to live in Canada for 730days ??

They still have to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 year period the CC child doesn't give them any privilege or rights

hi, I am just wondering, I became a permanent resident last july of 2008. I stayed in canada for 10 months and left last may 2009. I left canada to finish my studies here in the philippines and planning to come back on april 2011 aftr my graduation. my PR card expires on 2013. Can i still go back to canada without loosing my status?
