PR leaving in Canada but working for a French Company

Dear All,

I got my PR on June 2016 and went to Canada on October 2016 to confirm my status, I stayed there 3 months. And now I'm back home for work.
Indeed, during the 3 months, I continued working with my French Company. Now yet they do not want me to leave and are suggesting me to keep my job with them remote from Canada, as I'm handeling with Clients in Canada and US.
So I will be back in April to permenantly stay in Canada and my French Company wants me to stay with them and they will be sending me my salary in Canada. PS: My employer is headquarterd in US and France but no presence in Canada.
My question is, does this affect my PR status? As long as I stay in Canada, are the numbers of days inside the country cumulated even through I'm working with a Company abroad? Any Charges/taxes I have to pay to prove my residency and fulfill my obligations?
Please advise!

As long as you are physically in Canada - you can count these days towards both your PR and citizenship residency requirement.

Any income earned will have to be declared in your Canadian income tax return as worldwide income.

Thanks a lot. Then I need to learn more about declaration.

Last question, how are the days calculated? is it thanks to entry and leave stamps on passeport, or how?

Thank you again!
