PR Leave outside Canada

My parents are planning to leave Canada for 1 year and currently holding the PR for approx 7 months, just wondering how long did they allow to stay outside of Canada?

A PR must reside in Canada a minimum of 730 days in each rolling 5 year window. If your parents have been in Canada for the last 7 months and wish to leave for 1 year, they will still be in compliance to maintain their status

To keep your PR status, you must have been in Canada for at least 730 days during the last five years. These 730 days don’t need to be continuous. Some of your time outside Canada may count towards the 730 days you need.

They need to look up the healthcare eligibility criteria for their province to ensure they met the eligibility especially if they used healthcare this year and also will have to reapply when they return even if they have a valid health card. They will have to meet the 1st year eligibility criteria again.
