Hi,

I would like to share my experience of landing at Rainbow Bridge without any Entry Denial.
As lots of people shared in this forum their experience with denials. I would encourage to cross the border if you have Valid Visa.

  • I have USA visa and had chosen to cross the border by walk. I brought my I-94 for safe side.
  • I reached to US immigration they ask for the Purpose. I explained about PR landing and request to enter USA for one day to enjoy Niagara view from other side (took 2 mins).
  • No Security check. (Security check depends on person to person)
  • They scanned my PP and without any stamp they granted me permission to enter (the reason for no stamp was, I had activated I-94 as I had visited USA within six month before).
  • I spent an hour at USA side and then came back.
  • On Canada side they asked for denial slip or entry stamp but there was none. They were amazed that USA didn't stamped my passport but Canadian officer believed in me and asked me to go to the immigration office. Rest is the same process for all (took 30 mins).
  • I was worried about the stamp but later I checked online status it was updated that I entered and left USA on my Landing date.
I hope it will help those who have USA visa.

Regards,

Riz

Thanks for this nice post, really helpful. I was in the US in February, where would I get the I-94 and how do I know if it is still valid? Did you exit your car at the US border to be interviewed? Excuse my ignorance questions please

As i Mentioned in my post that I did by walk. So I parked my car at bird kingdom.
You can check and print your i-94 online from their official website

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home

Print your I-94 and bring it there. Most probably they won't ask you as your I-94 is still active.
