We r a family of 3 members. Husband, wife, and a daughter. I found out I'm pregnant after all our immigration visas have been issued. Our medical was done on july2012, which gives me a dead line to do our first landing on june2013. Same problem I'll face of the airlines. So, pls tell me what have u done. Did u succeed to postpone the first landing? Or did u succeed to sponsor ur baby?
can you travel by ship ?kikokit said:hi.
my wife is 8 months pregnant now and the airline refuses to let her travel. the problem is i told the Visa office that my wife will give birth in canada... can i proceed with my landing and let my wife and son stay in my home country until the baby is born? and since our papers are finalized, can i just sponsor my new born child? thanks a lot!!!!!!
Like I said previously, Cathay Pacific accept passengers with single pregnancies up to 36 weeks:missyani said:Hello,i have the same problem with your wife,im 8 months pregnant but my PR has been finalized as well we're just waiting for the visa w/c we expect this week to come im exactly 32weeks pregnant.. did you manage to fly with your wife and deliver the baby in Canada??

cathay pacific has flight between manila and hong kong and flight between hong kong and toronto
It's just about 15 hours flight for Manlia - Hong Kong - Vancouver!
I dont really know now,its on their website yes but in reality they wont allow any 8 months pregnant to travel pfff.truesmile said:Philippine Airlines accepts up to 35 weeks, AND Manila to Toronto now flies 'direct' ie 'non-stop'.
Yes, paperwork (medical certificate) is certainly required at that point. It appears that Cathay Pacific will accept one from "your" doctor and PAL only from "their own" doctor.missyani said:I dont really know now,its on their website yes but in reality they wont allow any 8 months pregnant to travel pfff.
