PR Interview

Hi,

I have received a mail from CIC local office scheduling interview for PR. However I am staying outside Canada and cannot go for interview and planning to do the landing in december. Please advice if this is an issue or any problem getting my PR/

Well, they are asking for an interview! It's best if you let them know that you are out of the country so they can arrange your interview at your current country of residence.

Yes i replied them back. But this is strange that under CEC category they are asking for interview. My plan was to do the landing before the visa expires.

Nothing to worry... Every one is recieving the same email.. Not sure why....
Just reply back saying you are outside canada... If they really want to have meeting with you then they will arrang in your home country other wise they will ignore it.....

I think its not interview only its landing interview am I right? Its after copr and passport stamp?

Yes, this is the same kind of interview as one done by an officer while landing at a border crossing. If someone is planing to land by traveling to the US border he/she can still do so. He/she just need to inform the CIC about it by replying to the received email.

got the reply back:

if you plan on finalizing your application at the airport when you arrive to Canada you do not need to attend this interview today.
Have a safe flight to Canada
