Hello,
Hope everybody is keeping healthy and safe !
It has been over 6 month now ! We applied for PR on dec 24th 2019!
I was told that we passed everything but the medical expired in May !
I was also told that they are reassessment the medical in Ottawa to finalize the case !are they going to extend the medical ?
What does that means ? Is ottawa the last destination for my case ?

Medicals can't be extended. If your medical expired before a decision was made you will likely be sent new medical instructions.

A new medical request isn’t certain. They are often waived. Wait and see if a new medical is requested.

The agent in IRCC told me that my medical is under reassessment in Ottawa But not sure if they will extend it or not! The idea of getting a new medical is a bit scary under the circumstances specially that I’m in Canada already! Thanks for your feedback ..

Not sure why it would be scary. Canada’s covid rate has decreased dramatically and it would be one of the better countries to do a medical in at the moment.
