One thing I just wanna confirm that while residing in BC can apply for landing in other province.

WTF is wrong with IRCC. I received my CoPR on March 18th and the expiry was May 27th. I kept asking them if I'm eligible for an alternate validation method. Now my CoPR has expired and I would have to go through the last step again meanwhile I'm seeing people getting their PR validated via email even though the expiry is nowhere near.

I understand your feeling. My parent got CoPR in Jan. I raised webform for landing appointment in early February, I got No feedback after that until May 29. Then I received the confirmation email the last day in May. It was like a draw, but I want to share some information with you. When I talked to one of the agent my worry about the expiration, she told me that “No need to worry. IRCC just need time to deal with the issue. You don’t need to re-do anything even if your CoPR expired. The case is completed.”Hope this can comfort you a little bit. Good luck!

My GC Key updated today saying Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) is valid, does it mean I have been spiritually landed?

Did u get E mail for confirmation of PR ?

Hello everyone.

I recently got my PR validated over email. CoPR was sent on May 10th and was valid to September 10.

Some notes:

• IRCC are prioritizing CoPRs that are close to the expiry date.
• CoPR's can be extended.
• If you are worried about your current status expiring, apply for Bridging Open Work Permit. As long as you have applied for this, you have implied status and can remain in Canada legally.

When did u validate it over email? And what did they ask i got my copr around may mid too and it is valid until sept 13 but i haven’t received any email to validate my pr

Any update for your landing? Do you see any changes in your Ecas or GCKey account? It seems Vancouver visa office is not working or very slow....not sure what's the delay from Vancouver office...Three offices are open in Vancouver as per the google status.

I sent an email to this mail address, did not get any reply.

I just called customer service agent to check the status of my file. The agent told me I am now landed, as of June 2-2020 & must wait for official landing paper as immigration officers are working on it.

When I checked my file online, there was addition of COPR document with same expiry as counterfoil and validation date June 2-2020. *** PS: Initially it was just counter foil with expiry date.***

Hi, I received my COPR a couple of days ago, online (waiting for original hard copy mail). Today, got an email along with an instruction from CIC-Etobicoke-Landings@cic.gc.ca asking to send my COPR and photo to them. Wondering what stage this is and if I would still need to book and attend an in-person interview to finalize my PR card. Thanks!
