Has anybody with PR confirmation from March onwards received the PR CARD?

I don't think so. As of May 26, the processing time of first PR card is 108 days. so we'll only start seeing some cards by July/August.

You may travel but will Not get services for Immigration purposes Upon return if restrictions are not lifted till your return.

But do you know if I can enter the country with a valid work permit instead of a CoPR ? Please note that my Work TRV is expired and the only Valid visa I have is the one I recieved with my CoPR.

Has anyone here applied for their health card in Service Ontario? Will they accept the confirmation of PR letter they sent thru our email? Cause all requirements should be original not printed. Pls share your experience here

I was at service ontario this morning and the staff told me that they only count PR card or official COPR letter as legitimate proof of status. Email from IRCC and printouts are not accepted for now.

Hi, with the current uncertainties due to Covid going on I will not risk it. If one does not have PR confirmation its riskier.

My PR confirmation email says - " If you leave Canada without a permanent resident card, you will have to apply for a permanent resident travel document through a visa office. Otherwise, you will not be able to board a commercial vehicle (plane, train, bus or boat) to come back to Canada. Please visit our website for more information. "

You may have to apply for this PRTD from visa office in other country. That's my understanding. Then there is uncertainty of flight availability, lockdowns, etc. In another case, a friend had couriered the PR card to my friend in home country.But that was before Covid.

I didn’t have a landing appointment. I asked for one last Mar 18 but I am still waiting for them to
Contact me. They told me to wait for 6-8 weeks and the Visa office will call me for a schedule, sadly I received nothing.
