Hello can you please tell me if you are done with your landing ? My spouse is in a similar situation as youYes.
Hi when is your COPR expiring ?Hi All,
Hope all is well with everyone. I got my COPR along with visa was issued on March 9th. I requested for landing and I am still waiting. it has been more than 3 months. I raised a web form and also called and got generic answers. is this common? What do you suggest me to do?
Thanks!
Yeah, I got my card yesterday.Hello @cjas - any update on your case from IRCC-M. I forgot, when did they receive your package as such. Did you receive any ghost update as such. I see few IRCC-M are moving now.
That is a long wait. Hopefully the timeliones have reduced now that they are backYeah, I got my card yesterday.
Here's the timeline:
- PR landing email: April 24
- Photo and CoPR received by IRCC Montreal office: April 28
- email to IRCC office asking for update: July 13
- GU: July 15
- PR card approved and dispatched: July 20
- PR card received by mail: July 23
Did you raise a webform when you contacted the IRCC office regarding the update or did you contact Montreal Immigration Office directly?Yeah, I got my card yesterday.

It took it precisely 87 days, which is less than the estimated processing time. Due to the COVID19, the delay for 1st card has gone from 14 days to 135, at its peak, and to 94 days, at the end of July. Even with the offices reopening, they are still working with reduced staff, so I don't see an improvement. But, like always with IRCC, if you send your documents correctly, you'll get what you want.
