PR Information Appeared on ECAS

Did this happen to your ECAS as well? is this a sign of some movement?

I am desperate for any signs of movement from CIC.

That is a bit odd but might be a glitch with the system, I have not had my PR information suddenly pop up you can always call the CIC call center to inquire what stage in your citizenship application at?

Interesting you bring it up. the exact same thing has happened to me.

During my PR phase, i had optied to hide my PR status. i was quite surprised to see it pop up - that that too on my cititenship status.

Where is your processing office? I also wrote my test and waiting for an oath now.

Initially I was also with Scarborough office. But after RQ review at St Clair my file was sent to Missisaauga

Sooo on an interesting note my PR information popped up today morning as my file was updated. On June 16th my file was transferred to local office. I personally think this can one of two things :

1) The new system updates going out will now list all applications you might have made with CIC including completed ones or

2) As TOBound guessed this is maybe the new sign of files moving to Local Office, in older applications a sign of this used to Received Line disappearing.

This happens to me once. I guess it's either a glitch, or cic agent is updating your ecas. hopefully it's the later. Check your ecas in couple days, see if there is anything new

Samreentariq, did the transfer to local office update appear on ECAS?

I know that my file was transferred from St. Clair to Mississauga at the end of May. PR information appeared on June 16th. Over half a month later. This PR Application info could be because of the transfer to Mississauga. Or, I hope, because there was another movement.

I think it might a sign of a movement within the local office. Cecapplied's file was already with the local Scarborough office after written test, when his/ her PR information appeared.

I called CIC re this. They said my file is still "in process" and were not able to disclose any additional information.

It appeared today as I got a new updated line when I checked yesterday it still only had my citizenship info. Today the new 4th line appeared stating that my file has been transferred to local office on June 16th 2015 and on top of it I saw the Completed PR application.

Maybe PR information online is a sign that an officer is working on your file. My status changed to "decision made" today. About three weeks after the PR information appeared online.

It appeared today as I got a new updated line when I checked yesterday it still only had my citizenship info. Today the new 4th line appeared stating that my file has been transferred to local office on June 16th 2015 and on top of it I saw the Completed PR application.

The exact same thing happened to me. The PR info appeared at the same time as the 4th line (file transferred to local office...)
And just like TObound when I first saw "Complete" I was shocked before I took a closer look

It happened to me last year, and my ecas was updated to say they had started processing my application. So I would guess someone is likely working on the file.
