If anyone can help with my situation. I have received my invitation for Express entry visa for PR. I am married but as my wife’s WES wasn’t done I have applied for my single EE visa. And received invitation. I am processing my file through lawyer and they asked my wife’s medical and PCC for filing my PR. I am confused that why would they need my wife’s PCC & Medical..??? She is not accompanying me on my file. Yet they asked me to get this document. Is that necessary for my PR process ??? Any help would be really appropriate.

Whether your spouse is accompanying or not she has to undergo a medical and police/security check because if she is inadmissible to Canada so are you - accompanying or not.
BTW, why don't you ask your lawyer these questions. You're paying for the service.

thank you for response. I have asked my lawyer and she sounded lil confuse to me and they said I have to get her medical and PCC. I have received ITA month before and was collecting all my docs and now I have provided them with my all doc. And later they asked me for this. Earlier they did not informed me and now bcz of COVID my wif is in Mumbai INDIA. Most of the locations are under lockdown so was worried about processing time.

I can't tell you anything about processing times, but all of your family members have to be admissible to Canada, whether they are accompanying or not, or else you too will be considered inadmissible. Your lawyer was confused by this? Ouch.
