PR info needed

Hi Guys,

one of my friend was in Canada on PR for 1 year back in 2012 and stayed in Canada for 1 year then went to USA for 2-3 years and then back to india,

he wants to come back to Canada now , how he can proceed now , will he be able to use the same PR card or he have to apply PR again in Express entry with all eligibility requirements

They will need to renounce their PR first and then will have to apply for PR again.

They need to give up their PR status first and then they can apply for a new PR.
