HELP SOMEONE PLEASE!!

My PR is in process, nearly at the final stage and my employers lawyers have applied to have our permits renewed in the meantime. However, at the time of applying our daughter's passport expired on 07 Oct, we renewed her passport and sent it in but it appears it was too late and the process had already begun. The lawyers contacted us ONLY TODAY through work to tell us we must get her permit renewed or she will have to leave Canada (she is a minor).
Does 'implied Status' count for anything here? What is the fastest way to apply for an extension?
Thanks!! A very anxious Parent!!

Apply for an extension for her, before her status expires. She will have implied status until Vegreville makes a decision. Make sure you include proof of your valid status in Canada with her application.

Thank you - so in order for her to have 'implied status' we must have an application for her permit renewal in process? I guess it doesn't count that she isn't the main applicant......

Yeah. It is important you send your application for renewal/extension before the current one expires though.

Ok, I'm on it - the problem is that CIC website says you can only pay at a financial institution and then submit IMM5401 receipt. That would be fine except they MAIL the receipt to you and that could take 2 weeks, her permit expires on Friday! I can't do it online as all the details would be in my name and then nothing corresponds. I've tried calling CIC but can never get through.....I have emailed them but I'm not sure I'll get a response. Aaarrrgggghhhh! Any ideas?

If you have a credit card you can pay on line you know. Or if you don't use another person CC and pay them cash. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Yes, thanks. When I tried to pay online before I tried to submit an online application with it, thats why the information wouldn't tie up. Now I know I can submit the application by mail and pay online seperately and send the receipt so thats what I'll do. Thanks for all your help!
