Can my time abroad count toward my permanent resident status in Canada? The CIC website says that the time outside Canada counts toward PR renewal (2-year living in Canada obligation) if you work for a Canadian company or organization full-time. Anyone has done this? or know more about it? Where can I find more info on this? Are there any criteria for the company? Can it be remote work for a company in Canada? Or the company has to have branches outside Canada?
Just looking for more info.
Thanks :)

Remote work would not count. You must be a full-time employee of a Canadian business with the head office in Canada. You must receive a transfer to your company’s overseas office. All the company information and eligibility requirements are on the website.

Thanks for the response. Can you point to the website address? I search on the cic website but couldn't find much details.
