Hi there!
My wife is a PR holder of Canada, she was living with me in Pakistan. We got married in Pakistan and after a year she went back to Canada while she was pregnant. We applied for family class PR application for me the husband who is residing currently in Pakistan. After we applied the application my wife just gave birth to our baby girl. So what should i do now?
Should we update IRCC that my wife gave birth in Canada. We did told iRCC when we were applying for PR spousal sponsorship that she is pregnant and is expecting a child soon. Now my child is born and she will get citizenship but do i need to update this on my application.

There is technically no urgent need as it does not affect your application directly (as a citizen, the child cannot be added as an applicant and doesn't need it anyway).

That said: won't hurt to provide a webform update with the info and some info, eg copy of birth certificate (even preliminary/record of birth thing).

If you plan to apply for a TRV it will also be relevant info.

The one which i got doesn’t have my Client id/ UCI. I've heard that when i will get an AOR with my UCI on it then i should apply for TRV.
Can my wife and my child visit me in Pakistan while our application is in process, She is a PR holder not a citizen, will this affect my application?

Then wait.

She can for 'short visits.' Stay less than three weeks. Given no birth certificate, passport, and caution for a newborn, well, that might all be six months - see if you get the TRV before then.

We were hoping that if she and my child can come back to Pakistan and then we can wait here until i get my PR approval. After getting my approval we will all move to Canada. Can this work?

See above for my response: "She can for 'short visits.' Stay less than three weeks."

PRs must be resident in Canada to sponsor. Short trips out of country are explicitly allowed. No clear definition of short.

It's possible her absence would not get 'caught' (although relying upon this in a period in which govt has increasingly good records of entries and exits is perhaps not the best idea). Or that they wouldn't do anything.

Or it would get caught and your app would be delayed or refused.

"Can this work?" Possibly. Or not.

Up to you to decide.

Congrats, There is no need to do anything from your side because she gave birth here in Canada.
