I have recently got PR confirmation. I had applied with spouse not accompanying.
How can I get PR for my husband now?

After you land in Canada and become a PR, you will submit a spousal sponsorship application to sponsor your spouse for PR. You must be living in Canada when you apply to sponsor your spouse and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed.

Am I eligible for spousal sponsorship as soon as I get PR?

I read somewhere that I should be a PR for 3 years before I can apply for my husband's PR under sponsorship.

There's no such rule.

If I receive nomination for me. I have submitted my wife's passport which was made before marriage. I got married recently July 15.

So if I apply for PR do I have to apply with her same passport? Or I can change the passport making my wife's new passport so that it indicates husband name or marital status etc?

Or it is not worth the hassle to make a new passport and justify 2 different passports presented to Oinp and CIC?

Also note that she holds IELTS with the old passport she has now.

Please advise. Thank you.
