Hello House
I am a serving military personnel who is willing to retire when given Canada PR.
1. Can I apply for Canada EE?
2. must I retire before I apply?
Please advice.

The form asks you to fill details in case you have served in the military. They ask questions like your unit’s name, location, your commanding officer etc. all of these details which cannot be passed on to a foreign organisation if you are a serving officer in the indian army.
Even if u do fill out only civilian experiences, they’d ask you to show or prove what you did the years that you won’t show any work ex or academic info for.
Its upto you how to apply and what you do but just be careful not to go against the rules on both the sides.

1. YEs.

2. No. There is no such rule that you have to retire. However, as and when your application is approved, you will have to land in Canada. Also, as per the requirements of your government, you will have to seek a NOC before you file your PR application if you are currently serving.
Thanks for timely response. Please help to clarify these:

1. you will have to seek a NOC before you file your PR application.? Please give more explanation as my job in the Navy falls into the category of NOC 2275 (Marine Traffic Regulator) and 2172 (Data analyst).

2. It is difficult and may becomes problematic in getting a work experience on letter head since i am yet to retire. I don't even want my Service to be aware of my application especially at this initial stage. So i intend to ask my co-worker who is my supervisor to write a work experience of 18 years for me. Please advise.

1. Depending on which country you are from, military rules prohibit applying for a foreign visa without seeking a prior permission to do so.

2. If you have served in the military, you will have to provide your official military record, you cannot just get a letter from your supervisor.

Legalfalcon...request you to kindly advise.

I'm the primary applicant with AOR 3rd July 2019, MEP 16th September, ADR submitted 24th December (Military service details of spouse) additional documents status changed to NA, ghost update on 31st December. Nothing since then. What could this mean?

'Would really appreciate your response.

Hi,

Does the Indian army allow an army spouse to seek a PR in Canada?
Most of the departments say no... You should better check with the office

Hello Ma'am, I am also retired Indian Army Officer. My wife is primary applicant and am secondary. I have given full details of military service. Please do not hide any details. Military service is not a ground for rejection.
Hello,
Request you to kindly update your status. Have you received your PR and how long was the process? The information will really help many of us waiting in similar situation.
Thank you & regards

Hi.
Can a retired armed person apply for SINP, if he has served in armed forces for 12years under the supply chain NOC?
