Hi!
My husband is serving in Indian Army .I am the primary applicant for the EE. My query is that ,is there any possibility of the visa refusal due to his job as he cannot leave his job for minimum two years from now?

Since he is dependent, there is no problem in that. Since there are no points for dependent, you can hide his work experience.

While it may not be a reason for rejection, it should not be hidden. It must be mentioned in the personal details section and any statutory questions about service in armed forces or government should be answered truthfully.

Hello Ma'am, I am also retired Indian Army Officer. My wife is primary applicant and am secondary. I have given full details of military service. Please do not hide any details. Military service is not a ground for rejection.

Well, it depends upon the place of employment. There are cases where army personnel's from Russia, India, Srilanka, and Pakistan have been rejected. But there are also cases where through appeal, some of these applications have went through. The reason they got rejected is based on an absurd idea like if you are in the Russian army, and if the army as a whole has done something anti-humanitarian per the general moral sense (News worthy). You could be counted as a part of the army, even if the you got nothing to do with it, the applicant could have been a simple records keeper, or something else. But they consider by being part of that army means that you partly acknowledged and condoned to the actions. It is totally weird but things like these are there.

Hi
Pls tell about the progress of your application. Can the details of military service be provided without any problem? Is it allowed?
Thanks in advance

1. Yes, if you have civilian work experience. Non-Canadian military experience cannot be counted as work experience if applying through Express Entry.
2. Yes

1. YEs.

2. No. There is no such rule that you have to retire. However, as and when your application is approved, you will have to land in Canada. Also, as per the requirements of your government, you will have to seek a NOC before you file your PR application if you are currently serving.
