Working for a Canadian company abroad is mainly for government workers being transferred temporarily abroad. They had to be working for the employer in Canada before the transfer overseas. Your situation does not qualify at all and very few qualify.the residency obligation has a clause about working for a Canadian company - i am not totally relying on it
