the residency obligation has a clause about working for a Canadian company - i am not totally relying on it
i dint say any one under 18 got PRTD
for me its like rolling the dice and taking our chances
few months back i didnt have this option
if it works , well and good. i will be taking this step for my children
if not, i dont loose much more than i thought i already had.
:)
Working for a Canadian company abroad is mainly for government workers being transferred temporarily abroad. They had to be working for the employer in Canada before the transfer overseas. Your situation does not qualify at all and very few qualify.

You were the one who said your children were all under 18.
“all children are under 18. Yes, i do understand my chances in the long run. taking care of elderly parents and child born after expiry and not being fully aware of the regulations were mainly the reasons for such a long absence. ”
