I tried calling them several times but each time they hung up my call as the wait line was too much
I have seen many people complaining about Ottawa VO not issuing ECOPR's, likely IRCC will transfer your file to Montreal VO and then it will be issued from there and this is done automatically you guys don't have to do anything.

Finally received ECOPR - so relieved!

Biometrics done 11 July 2024
P1 on 21 November 2024 (sent back same day)
P2 on 2 December 2024 (sent back same day)
I called and sent 2 webform to IRCC because it’s over 90 days.
Praise be to God, for He made this all possible! Best of luck to all still waiting

is there any disadvantage if I contact the MP regarding the ecopr delay?

I don't see any disadvantages, however I'd recommend contacting them after 90 days post P2. You could leverage that to submit a request.
