That wont be the case. My dependent is outside Canada and she received passport request and got her passport stamped before november 15th.
How long did it take for the passport to get stamped?. Im in the same boat as you, we did send the dependants passport month ago outside canada and there's no update on that one from then. Sent it last week of october

It was quick, she got the passport within one week of submission.

no need to worry you will get ECOPR by the end of this month otherwise next month for sure but if you want then you can send an email to the same address from where you received your P2, P1 and tell them your situation and see if it helps but don't worry these immigration processes are always slow only one more step left for you and then you are done.
Thanks for the response mate! Hoping for the best. I want to wait till the end of this month. If I don't receive anything then I would be reaching out to IRCC through phone, MP, webform and all other possible channels starting first week of December! Till then, cracking my knuckles for some speed typing! :P

Hi , dear respected members . I just received my Ecopr today . My question is my Ecopr will be expire jan 12 2025 . Time is very short . If my pr card not come before this time what will gonna happen ? What have to do ? Thanks

Someone mentioned that a few applicants received their PR cards by mail without any notification, and the status on the PR portal never changed. Do you think the Canada Post strike might be causing this delay? I'm just wondering.

I don't think that the strike has anything to do with the eCoPR because it's literally a document that has to be uploaded by the visa officer so we can download it from the portal! For PR cards, of course, the delay is directly corelated to the Canada Post strike!
