Do you know which VO issued it by any chance ?
damn that's a long wait, I submitted my P2 on Sep 17 and on Nov 1 I received my PR Card maybe send an email to the same email address from where you received your P2 and explain to them that you have been waiting for 2 months now for your ECOPR and see if they can check and send your ECOPR ASAP.I uploaded my photo on Portal 2 on September 23, 2024. As of today, it has been 60 days, and the status still shows “In Review.” I have not yet received my eCOPR.
This is absolutely soul crushing! 3 MONTHS?! Before they intervene?! Man, now I really wanna know what grade ganja the IRCC is smoking?P2 - 28 October
Still waiting for my eCOPR. The simplest step in the entire process for becoming a permanent resident is taking the longest, with no established timeframe. One of my project assignments is on hold because I can't apply for the needed security clearance without becoming a permanent resident first. In December, I have two short work trips outside North America and a long holiday planned for Christmas. My only hope is that my eTA doesn't get cancelled the moment I receive my eCOPR in the portal—so at least the airline will still allow me to board my flight to Canada.
I had a not so lovely chat with a IRCC phone agent earlier today, and they will only intervene by contacting the case officer when 3 months will have elapsed after P2.
your airline won't know that you have received your ECOPR while you were outside Canada so don't worry about that.P2 - 28 October

Yes, I know that. As long as the eCOPR is not cancelled, I will be alright. However, this waiting period is affecting my work as well.your airline won't know that you have received your ECOPR while you were outside Canada so don't worry about that.
Yes I did that 2 weeks ago and didn’t got reply yet but I will do it again thanksdamn that's a long wait, I submitted my P2 on Sep 17 and on Nov 1 I received my PR Card maybe send an email to the same email address from where you received your P2 and explain to them that you have been waiting for 2 months now for your ECOPR and see if they can check and send your ECOPR ASAP.
Well me personally I have never contacted my local MP but many people in this forum have reached their Local MP about this and the answer that most of them have received is that your file is in virtual queue so nothing can be done, as I mentioned earlier the IRCC employees have enough power to ruin anybody's day, they can delay your P1,P2 or ECOPR or your PR Card for as long as they want and you cannot do anything about it, but since you mentioned your P2 was sent at the end of last month then you should definitely receive your ECOPR by the end of this month.Yes, I know that. As long as the eCOPR is not cancelled, I will be alright. However, this waiting period is affecting my work as well.
I've also noticed that the least helpful and unempathetic responses from the IRCC call centre often come from those who are immigrants themselves.
I'm considering involving my local MP at this stage, but I understand their influence might be limited since the case files have already been approved. Has anyone contacted their local MP about this before?
I’m in a similar situation, as I need to travel in early January next year. I’m hopeful that I’ll receive the eCOPR email before my trip, but if I don’t have my PR card by then, can I re-enter Canada using my current eTA and work permit, or will they become invalid once I receive the eCOPR?P2 - 28 October
