Yes, you can do a walk-in and get SIN instantly. I applied online, I got new SIN in 2 days.

Health insurance depends on your province. In Quebec you can get a new RAMQ card online as well.

lucky for you.. its been 10days i applid new sin online. nothing.... lol
i might go walk if i have the time next week..
