Congrats. Was it just now? It's been very dead in here about eCOPRs information. I'm expecting mine. Got P2 one day later than yours. Mine VO is Montreal.

Hello all,

I received my P2 and responded the same day on March 6, 2024 and was waiting for my e-COPR, since then. In the meanwhile, I have married my wife in Canada and informed IRCC about our civil marriage. they asked me to submit the documents which I did, now they sent me the biometric email. and asked her to submit the biometrics. we are currently in India for our traditional wedding. where can she submit her biometrics and is there any deadline to it.

Got ECopr on Apr 25th. Waiting for the PR Cards. Does anyone know the PR Card timelines?

Hi folks , question ?
does my PR start when they send the Ecopr ? and that would begin my time towards citizenship, or
is it when they print the card and final decison on it ? little unsure if ill loose all that time they took to send me the card .
thanks team

my assumption is that we become PR on the date printed on the ECOPR and that changes the status to Permanent Resident from that day onwards. PR card should not affect or change that status date. So, in a nutshell, the days to Citizenship starts from the date you become PR on eCOPR. Seniors can verify this please.
