1. Received an email asking for information - Aug 28
2. Received your log in details for the portal - Waiting
3. Declared presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a picture on the portal - Waiting
4. Received ECOPR - Waiting
5. VO - Etobicoke

Any idea how long does it take for the next step with Etobicoke office?

For me it took 6 days between portal 1 and portal 2

Another update here: I got the PR card application approval today!

Portal 1: Aug 4, replied Aug 5, mentioned I already had an account in the PR Portal (got automatic reply), did not send follow-up emails (Virtual Landing Unit)
Portal 2: Aug 11, replied on the same day
eCoPR: Aug 17
PR card: Aug 28 (approved and mailed - I'm tracking it in the IRCC account)
PR card receipt: waiting

FYI, in the IRCC account they say: "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."
And in my PR Portal account, both address and photo are still "in review with IRCC". \o/

you said Etobicoke had sent the email, right ? They process faster than Montreal.. it's been 5 weeks since I received eCoPR and still no updates regarding photo or address.

No, the one who sent me the email was Virtual Landing Unit (it's not as common as the ones we see here with Etobicoke and Montreal).
Did you link your PR card application to your IRCC account?
I'm asking as my PR Portal account still has "in review with IRCC" for both my mail address and photo, so don't trust this information there; you need to check it in the IRCC account linked application.

So finally, after 40 months of waiting, I got Portal 1 yesterday (Aug. 28). I have an outland dependent but I have not gotten a PPR for her. Any ideas when that could happen? Also, when I submitted the requested info for portal 1, I did not get an automatic reply.

I didn't link. I'll wait for the card patiently.

I received my eCOPR on August 29th, 2023 but the expiry date is September 10th, 2023 just in 12 days. My work permit also expires on the same day. It might take at least a month or two to receive my PR card. Can I stay in Canada with an expired eCOPR till my PR card arrives? Is anyone else in the same boat?
Your valuable response will be appreciated!
