I think you have PR portal account yet. So just log in and you will see CONFIRMATION PR BUTTON

Hi all,
I have a question. So I applied for PR through PNP-non Express Entry and my application was approved Oct. Now I am waiting for eCOPR, but my PGWP will be expired in June 2023. What kind of work permit do I have to apply to extend? I am just afraid in case my ecopr not released until then. Thanks for your input

I don't think you need to apply for anything now. You still have 6 months. I am very positive that you will received not your eCOPR but also your PR card by then. However, you can raise a webform explaining your situation and requesting ircc to expedite your eCOPR and PR processing.

Thank you for your valuable response. I know I have 6 months in prior, but man who knows what is really going on with IRCC these days. Seems like alot of people are struggled waiting for a final piece of paper

Can you share your timeline since the day you apply? What is your VO?

IRCC sent me an email saying "Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident (PR) of Canada! IRCC has uploaded an electronic copy of your electronic confirmation of permanent residence (eCoPR) document in the PR Confirmation Portal." So then I went to the portal and downloaded it. You only have 30days to download it before it disappears.
Which VO?

It’s just a cosmetic reason. The ugly truth is that they have most probably achieved their targets for this year, and can’t come clean to the applicants. Canadian immigration is a circus and they’re treating us like clowns. ECOPRs can be issued within 24 hrs and PR cards in a week time. Last year is an evidence.

I suggest we forget about any further progress on our files, enjoy our vacations and family time. Let’s welcome new year, and hope that they issue eCOPRs latest in the first quarter of 2023.
If it helps, my PR Card has not yet arrived. I asked my local MP. He threw up hands in air and said, man I can move earth and sky for anything but deal with IRCC. I am due to change my house and my hence address sometimes in feb. Last I checked they were working on requests to resend cards they got in July. I reported non recipt of pr card in august. So yes, its a circus and entire damn canada is full of clowns and they are making an ass out of us!

O Canada!

So...
Either IRCC lost my original card or Canada Post did.
From the looks of it, it must be IRCC.
