I have a question. I just opened my PR application tracker, and the status says 'Closed'. What does this mean? I can't check anything myself because I don't have access to my GC Key.

I have another question but on a different topic.

I received my eCoPR, and I see that my spouse is listed as Non-accompanying under DEPENDANT(S) INFORMATION, which is accurate. However, our child, who was born in Canada while my PR application was in progress, is not included in my eCoPR. I informed IRCC about the birth of my child by webform and also in Portal 1 email.

So, is it okay if my child is not added as a dependent? I realize that my child is a Canadian citizen by birth, but I'm a little confused. Could someone who has been in a similar situation clarify my doubt?

Thanks!

My PR application was submitted by a lawyer, all CIC accounts were created by a lawyer, after I got ecopr the lawyer said the contract is over and no longer in contact. I got ecopr on March 7th and I just want to check if my PR card is updated but I don't have an account to log in, I have an emergency and have booked a ticket on April 7th to return to my country, now I am very worried whether I will get my PR card before I leave Canada
Have you tried calling IRCC? Maybe they will have an update for you or suggest something. I still have hope that they might be helpful sometimes :)

check spam also scroll through address and Passport photo in the PR portal that's where they upload ECOPR.
I checked both my spam and junk folders but didn’t find anything. I also thoroughly scrolled through the PR portal, but there was nothing there.

I just confirmed with my immigration consultant, and they said in the email it has been mentioned that my status is updated in the GCKEY account .
. When they checked there, they found the eCOPR issued status along with its expiry date.
So, does this mean the eCOPR was issued on GCKey first and then later on the portal?

that COPR in GCKey is uploaded during your P1, it doesn't have to do with the original document that they only upload in the PR Portal and it should be visible once you scroll to the end of the page after crossing through Passport Photo and Address.

you should receive it before April although I would say it's 60/40, 60% chance it will take more time so in that case you will need to get PRTD to enter Canada Again also you can login to GCKey using your UCI number once you do that it will say you have a representative and in order to remove them you can fill Represent Removal Form and then you can gain access to your account and link your PR Card.

The eCOPR number and expiry date show up in the Application Tracker soon after final decision, so it is confusing because it makes you think you are PR already. You are close, but not finished yet. I don't know what shows up in GCKey, since my application was filed by a lawyer.

But the actual eCOPR is only available in the PR portal (after you get P1 and P2 emails). Currently it is taking long for the eCOPR to show up in the PR portal (most people seem to wait 90 days after P2).
