Meanwhile, it costs $255 to get a BOPW.
Why would IRCC want people who have paid thousands dollars for PR applications to pay more in this harsh economy?

I called them this morning. They just asked to respond to the second email as well and wait. Also, they said to ignore the "family class" and "do not reply" parts of the email. They don't have access to the information that it was delivered or not, so they asked to just wait.

How do you tell some that you have concluded work on their file only for paper work to take 3 months or more to finalize. They you them squeeze additional $225 for BOWP. Is the whole process a money spinning mill??

Everything is a business and about making money why are we waking up everyday and going to work? Government is bringing more people in their country so that they can work and pay taxes, so that people can buy property and again pay taxes, so that we pay taxes on basically anything we buy at the end of the day it's all about money, if we delete the concept of money from society then the society will come to a halt, currency was invented in order to make people busy with their lives so that people cannot focus on the issues going around the world, it was always about money and 100 years from now also it will be all about money at the end of the day.

True. You paid for processing, some delays your processing so that you will apply for BOPW and pay again for an application that should have been processed normally and saved you $225.

ECOPR is mainly for people already living in Canada and waiting for their PR confirmation, PPR can be referred to someone who applied for any sort of canadian visa like visitor, spouse or PR visa outside Canada and his/her application is approved so then the Canadian Embassy in their country will ask for Passport in order to stamp visa this is called Passport Request or PPR.
