I believe, I need to wait a little for getting ECOPR. Do anyone here have Winnipeg office processing their application? Are they fast in processing?

I have applied in non express file after receiving the nomination letter in OINP for masters graduate stream.

TIMELINE:

5 March 2024 : Applied for non express file
19 June 2024 : Payment for biometrics
19 June 2024 : Link account to GC Key
19 June 2024 : Additional Information Required (Appendix A)
19 June 2024 : This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2024/03/05.
5 July 2024 : Acknowledgement of the webform (Appendix A submitted)
25 July 2024 : Additional document required (Employment Letter, Educational transcript)
26 July 2024 : Biometrics Completed
26 July 2024 : Medical Updated
30 July 2024 : Submitted the additional document
1 August 2024 : Review Started of the additional documents

After this stage there are no updates. They are still reviewing the additional documents.

I contacted my local MP Office regarding my file and they replied that my application is considered as none-routine as it has been transferred to Winnipeg office for additional review and verification.

Update in the file:

19 November 2024 : Received Pre-Arrival Letter.
02 December 2024: Final Decision has been made to your application
03 December 2024: Portal 1
09 December 2024: Portal 2

Hello Mine was winnipeg.

I applied in Feb 20th, 2024
June 6th, 2024 -Aor,ADR
October 9th-PAL
October 15-ADR
October 22-FD
October 25- PPR for spouse outland
October 28-P1
November 6-P2

There is nothing to do with winnipeg now as you have already got FD, p1 and P2 . Your ecopr needs to be issued by the office who issued your p1 or p2.

Hey everyone,

I have done all below things after getting eCoPR.
1) Got New SIN
2) Updated eCoPR and SIN with employer
3) Applied for updation of Health Card
4) Updated eCoPR and SIN in Banks
5) Applied for updation of Driver License

Where else we need to update our eCoPR or SIN, do we need to update in CRA account as well? And how its done?

Thanks in advance
What updates do you make to your driver’s license?

From what I read, it seems your current CRA account will become inactive around 1 or 2 weeks after your new SIN is issued, then you need to get a new CRA account with your new SIN, And your old info will automatically be linked to this new CRA account. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, you're correct! No need to call CRA and update them separately!

ircc totally fucked up
again wait for week
waiting from over 60 days for copr

I know many people got Copr - their p2 end of september 2024
but my AOR also same with them
AOR date 17th June 2024
its totally unfair
I was told that the VO has up to 3 months to issue eCOPR after P2. So just keep your hope alive.

I updated my health card. But I still have till December 2025 for my driver's license. No point in losing a year and renew it with $90 now. Will do it later. If you have validity then just wait on it till a month before your current one expires!
Does the validity of a driver’s license differ for temporary and permanent residents?
